FUEL FOR PRIVATE PLEASURE CRAFT - Update 16 October
HMRC has now posted on its website the guidance on how the changes to the taxation of fuel used in private pleasure craft that comes into effect on 1 November 2008. The guidance document can also be found under the Information tab on the FPS website.

Please note that there has been a change to the VAT rates in this final guidance: red diesel used for both propulsion and heating is rated at 5%.
